MODEL OVERVIEW:

The Ford Falcon XB GT, produced from 1973 to 1976, marked the final evolution of the iconic Australian Falcon GT lineage, before the model was rested until 1992. Building on the success of its predecessors, the XB GT featured similar aggressive styling with a distinctive power bulge bonnet and revised front grille with integrated driving lights. Powered by the local Geelong cast 351ci Cleveland V8, paired with either a 4-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission and legendary 9" LSD, it delivered strong performance wrapped in coupe or sedan body styles. Inside, the XB GT was well-appointed for its time, with high-back bucket seats, a sports dash, and GT badging throughout. As the last GT of the original Falcon era, the XB GT holds a special place in Australian motoring history, bridging the raw muscle of the early '70s with the more refined performance cars to follow.
