A previous museum car in Philadelphia for over 30 years showing just 37,451 miles, this car was imported into Australia 4 years ago and recommissioned into a perfect driving car, to compliment it’s amazing condition.

This car is Sold with a full dossier of History and recent recommissioning paperwork.

Mechanical:

Powered by its fully serviced Ford 170ci Pursuit straight 6 cylinder engine, it is mated to a fully rebuilt Ford-O-Matic 2 Speed Automatic gearbox driving power to a fully rebuilt Differential.

All brake components have been replaced with new drums, pads, wheels cylinders and all brake lines. All suspension bushes and perishables have been replaced with new items. Cooling system renewed and all hoses replaced. Exhaust and mufflers replaced.

This car drove to the Chicane Showroom down the highway from its home an hour away, without fuss. Turn key and go!

Body:

Beautiful straight body without any signs of corrosion at all. Paintwork is old but still gives off a generous shine in the sun. All Chrome trim is in exceptional condition from its bumpers, grille and window surrounds.

Interior:

Immaculate & beautiful condition. Seats, dash, instruments, door skins, hood lining, knobs and switches… all in beautiful condition. Original ‘Mercury’ radio still plays a tune.

Buyers Premium & Payment:

BP 6.5% of Winning Bid Amount. (GST Inc.) Debited from Auction Winners Bank Card as deposit.
Example: $50,000 Winning Bid + Buyers Premium $3,250 (6.5%) = $53,250 AUD Total Amount.

The Winning Bidder will be sent an Invoice to be paid within 5 Days. Payment by EFT Bank Transfer.

All Vehicles must be collected within 7 days of the Auction Close.

How to Bid:

• Register & become a Verified Bidder.
• Bids must be at least $250 higher than the current bid. You may enter a higher bid at any time
• When placing a Bid, do not use a ‘comma mark’. ( Example $10000 equals $10,000 )
• If Reserve Price is Met, a yellow banner will say “Reserve Met” on the Lot Auction Page.
• Auction will extend by another 2 Minutes, if a bid is placed within 2 minutes of Auction End.

*If the Reserve Price is not met, only the highest bidder has first right to negotiate any purchase.

Transport:

Fully Enclosed Transport is easily arranged for interstate buyers, throughout Australia. Buyer is responsible for cost.

We Highly advise to inspect any Vehicle before bidding, as Items are sold as is, without cooling off period or warranty under Victorian LMCT Auction Guidelines. All Vehicles are sold unregistered unless otherwise stated. All cars have a clear PPSR and are sold without finance owing or on the Written Off Vehicle Register.

GST will not be added to, or included in, the final bid price of this item. GST is included in the buyers premium.
