Buyers Premium & Payment:

BP 6.5% of Winning Bid Amount. (GST Inc.) Debited from Auction Winners Bank Card as deposit.
Example: $50,000 Winning Bid + Buyers Premium $3,250 (6.5%) = $53,250 AUD Total Amount.

The Winning Bidder will be sent an Invoice to be paid within 5 Days. Payment by EFT Bank Transfer.

All Vehicles must be collected within 7 days of the Auction Close.

How to Bid:

• Register & become a Verified Bidder.
• Bids must be at least $250 higher than the current bid. You may enter a higher bid at any time
• When placing a Bid, do not use a ‘comma mark’. ( Example $10000 equals $10,000 )
• If Reserve Price is Met, a yellow banner will say “Reserve Met” on the Lot Auction Page.
• Auction will extend by another 2 Minutes, if a bid is placed within 2 minutes of Auction End.

*If the Reserve Price is not met, only the highest bidder has first right to negotiate any purchase.

Transport:

Door to Door Fully Enclosed VIP Transport is arranged for interstate buyers, throughout Australia. Buyer is responsible for cost.

Conditions of Sale:

Vehicle information is provided to us by the Vendor. Each Vehicle is to be personally verified by the Bidder, for its Condition, Description correctness & Authenticity themselves or by arranging a professional inspection / assessor before bidding.

The Chicane team review all vehicles at our Showroom for internal checks & auction suitability, not of a qualified inspector, mechanic or other professional. Condition opinion given by Chicane Auctions is just an opinion, which can differ from person to person. Due to age, Cars older than 25 Years can have incorrect Odometer readings & are unverified by Chicane Auctions. Classic Cars can have many unseen flaws and a full mechanical check & service is therefor recommended before driving for common sense safety reasons.

Whilst every care is taken, the Auctioneer/Agent does not accept responsibility for items described incorrectly either in the catalogue or at the auction. Intending bidders are always strongly encouraged to take advantage of the time given to view goods or have them professionally inspected & assessed prior to the auction commencing. Furthermore, no compensation shall be paid in respect of any error or mis- description.

If any dispute arises in relation to a Lot, the dispute is between the Buyer and the Seller. By registering and then bidding under the Terms & Conditions agreed upon, the Buyer agrees to release the Auctioneer from any claim, action, or legal proceeding in respect of that Lot and to indemnify the Auctioneer, on a full indemnity basis, from all liability, including all costs incurred by it in relation to any such claim.

All Vehicles are sold unregistered unless otherwise stated. All cars have a clear PPSR – Personal Property Securities Register and are sold without finance owing or appear on the Written Off Vehicle Register.

GST Note: GST will not be added to, or included in, the final bid price of this item. GST is only included in the buyers premium.
