1984 Holden WB Ute

Overview:

The HQ to WB Ute Series needs no introduction. In it’s ultimate 1970’s Sandman guise, these utes have become a true Aussie Icon. Loved by all for their Bright Colors and over the top Sticker Packs, the Sports Utilities had the Go to back up the Show when armed with an Aussie designed V8 under the bonnet. The last of the series WB model was the best driver of the lot & a great start to a Sandman Tribute. Point one of these beautes at the Coast & you’d be surfing in no time!

Vehicle:

This Dead straight WB Ute has been converted to a stunning Sandman Tribute using Holden GTS parts throughout by its mechanic owner / builder. Freshly painted in the popular Panama Green, this rebuild has been done properly from its great looking exterior & interior, to its mechanical package.

Mechanical:

Running a mild 5.0LT 308 V8 with Extractors through a dual exhaust system for the great exhaust note. A Trimatic Automatic transmission feeds power to the rear wheels with Power Steering for easy driving.

Interior:

Fitted with the full suite of Holden GTS interior appointments with Black Vinyl / Red Striped GTS Seats, matching Black Vinyl Door cards, full GTS Dashboard and Gauges, T-Bar Automatic with Console, Black roof lining & Carpet round out the full Sandman alike package.

Exterior:

Beautifully painted in Panama Green with Blue Sandman Decals. Premiere Twin Headlight front end, GTS Gaurds and widened 14″ GTS Wheels carrying 235 / 195 tyres. Very straight and obviously a well cared for example before the recent restoration with the ute tub wheel arches in perfect undented condition, looking like they have never carried a thing, even once in its life. Nice clean example.

Well put together Tribute to an Aussie Icon. Always a crowd favorite.

Buyers Premium:

6.5% of Winning Bid Amount. (GST Inc.) Debited from Auction Winning Bidders Bank Card.

Example: $50,000 Winning Bid + Buyers Premium $3,250 (6.5%) = $53,250 AUD Total Amount.

Bidding is in $250 Increments. Our system will extend the Auction by 2 Minutes if a bid is placed within 2 minutes of Auction End.

We use an Autobid system. Place your highest bid & Autobid will increase your bid by $250 increments up to your highest bid amount, ONLY if another bidder is competing with you & bids up to that amount. In the case of a tie bid, precedence is given to the earliest bid.

The Chicane team check-over the vehicles for internal checks & auction suitability only, not of a qualified inspector, mechanic or other professional.  Classic Cars can have unseen flaws & Odometer readings can be incorrect.  We Highly advise to inspect any Vehicle before bidding, as Items are sold as is, without cooling off period under Victorian LMCT Auction Guidelines. All Vehicles are sold unregistered unless otherwise stated.
