The Series 2 retained the powerful 5.5-liter V8 engine, but with an improved fuel management system for better efficiency. Delivered new by Worrell’s Mercedes of Melbourne, to a Mr Richard Harbig of Toorak. This 3 OWNER car has its full history known and has been kept in fastidious order by the current Mercedes Benz Club owner for over 20 years now. Presented in remarkable condition and complete with all original handbooks and documentation from new. The long term current owner has spent great time, effort and expense to offer a car that does not require any reconditioning, with an expansive document receipt file from his 20+ year ownership to prove such a claim. All engine, gearbox, seals & gaskets were recently renewed together with a comprehensive engine pull down with Reconditioned Heads, Timing Chains and extensive list of items culminating a a near complete engine and accessory rebuild. All suspension items have been serviced and replaced when necessary including recent new self leveling valves fitted. Recent full stainless steel exhaust system fitted. From shock absorbers to Control arm bushes, this cars mechanicals need for nothing.

Body:

Presented in its beautiful Mercedes Impala Metallic duco, this car has lived a charmed garaged pampered life with the bodywork as straight as an arrow. Fitted with factory sunroof ( just fully rebuilt),  period correct MB Dealer accessory Chrome wheel arches and matching Lorinser wheel package, this car stands above the rest in curb appeal.

Close to flawless condition. Sensational Mocha Leather matched with timber veneer. All switches, controls & dashboard items in perfect working order. Dashboard top showing a small 4 cm long crack and wood venner near window switch shows hairline crack are only items of note. Seating, headlining and carpeting in crisp, fantastic condition. Example: $50,000 Winning Bid + Buyers Premium $3,250 (6.5%) = $53,250 AUD Total Amount.

The Winning Bidder will be sent an Invoice to be paid within 5 Days. Payment by EFT Bank Transfer.

All Vehicles must be collected within 7 days of the Auction Close.

How to Bid:

• Register & become a Verified Bidder.
• Bids must be at least $250 higher than the current bid. You may enter a higher bid at any time
• When placing a Bid, do not use a ‘comma mark’. ( Example $10000 equals $10,000 )
• If Reserve Price is Met, a yellow banner will say “Reserve Met” on the Lot Auction Page.
• Auction will extend by another 2 Minutes, if a bid is placed within 2 minutes of Auction End.

*If the Reserve Price is not met, only the highest bidder has first right to negotiate any purchase.

Transport:

Fully Enclosed Transport is easily arranged for interstate buyers, throughout Australia. Buyer is responsible for cost.

We Highly advise to inspect any Vehicle before bidding, as Items are sold as is, without cooling off period or warranty under Victorian LMCT Auction Guidelines. All Vehicles are sold unregistered unless otherwise stated. All cars have a clear PPSR and are sold without finance owing or on the Written Off Vehicle Register.
