MODEL OVERVIEW:
The 1978 Holden HZ GTS represented the final chapter of Holden's legendary full-sized GTS performance sedan lineage and the end of the Kingswood-based muscle car era. Combining distinctive four-headlight styling with Holden's groundbreaking Radial Tuned Suspension (RTS), standard four-wheel disc brakes and available with the potent 5.0-litre L31 V8, the HZ GTS delivered the best balance of performance, handling and refinement ever offered in a traditional big Holden. With production ending in late 1978 and only around 1,438 examples built, the HZ GTS stands today as a highly collectible Australian classic.
