MODEL OVERVIEW:

The 1967 Falcon XR GT holds the prestigious title of being Australia’s first Falcon GT and first V8 of any type to win the Great Race – Bathurst with Harry Firth and Fred Gibson at the wheel. It marked the beginning of high-performance Ford Falcon GT’s that would go on to dominate the hearts of a generation and the racetracks around the country. INTERIOR:

Presented in its GT U-code Charcoal Grey interior, it maintains the simple, functional and driver-oriented character of the earliest Falcon GT. The seating, dash, instruments, radio and trim components present neatly, consistent with long-term ownership by an enthusiast who valued preservation over modification.

The interior is unmistakably correct — pure, early GT, without embellishment — retaining the honest look and feel that collectors seek in the first generation of Falcon GTs.
