On offer is a genuine Australian-delivered 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo (Type 952), originally sold new through Hamiltons Porsche in Melbourne and delivered on 21 September 1988. Finished in striking Azure Blue with a contrasting cream interior, this example presents one of the most elegant and rarely specified colour combinations of the late-1980s 944 Turbo era.

Accompanied by its complete service history, the car includes the original Porsche service books, owner’s manuals, and factory delivery pouch, attesting to its care and consistent maintenance over the years. A non modified example, that reflects the pride of conscientious ownership.

Powered by Porsche’s legendary M44/51 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 220 horsepower, this 944 Turbo channels its performance through a five-speed manual transaxle gearbox. EXTERIOR:

Finished in its original Azure Blue, the body presents in preserved, original condition, showing some stone chipping consistent with age and use. All panels display excellent alignment, while the trim, glass, and lighting assemblies remain original to the car, complemented by its factory-optioned electric sunroof. Retaining its factory protective side mouldings and correctly riding on its original refurbished Porsche alloy wheels, this 944 Turbo displays the honest, well-kept character of an unmodified and maintained example.

INTERIOR:

The interior presents beautifully in cream and black trim, providing a sophisticated contrast to the Blue exterior. The cabin remains largely original and exceptionally well-preserved, with the dashboard showing only minor cracking on the upper surface — a common trait in 944s of the era.
