This 1972 Ford XY Falcon Panelvan presents as a very clean, straight and dry example of Ford’s iconic commercial workhorse, now tastefully restored into a V8 GS-styled cruiser. Finished in bold Surfer Orange duco and featuring a complete Saddle GS interior, the van has fantastic presence and a cohesive factory-style aesthetic. Hard to find in this condition, genuine windowless XY Panelvans rarely come to market with this level of body quality.
Originally delivered new as a special-order EY357 fleet colour vehicle, this van was 1 of just 2 supplied to a Canberra TV station, built as a 250ci six-cylinder manual. It now benefits from a quality transformation, upgraded with a 302 Cleveland V8 paired to a C4 automatic transmission, giving it the effortless drivability and a V8 exhaust note enthusiasts expect.
DRIVE - LINE:

Inside, the van features a beautifully executed Saddle GS interior, including GS-style dashboard, instruments, seats, console, door cards, trim and detailing that elevate the cabin far beyond typical commercial-spec Falcons.
