1967 CHEVROLET C10 SWB

MODEL OVERVIEW:

The 1967 Chevrolet C10 marked the beginning of Chevy’s second-generation “Action Line” pickups. Featuring its distinctive clean body lines, wide grille, and sculpted front guards, the ’67 C10 combined car-like comfort with genuine workhorse ability, thanks to a coil-spring rear suspension that delivered noticeably better handling and ride than its rivals. Available with a range of straight-six and small-block V8 engines, the C10 provided strong, dependable performance. The Chevrolet C10 SWB is one of the most popular platforms in the American performance and custom scene, highly regarded for its proportions, coil-spring ride and ability to accept serious driveline and chassis upgrades.

AUCTION CAR:

This C10 was built in the United States as a true Pro Street truck, engineered from the ground up with heavy-duty components designed to cope with substantial horsepower. It features a smoothed and shaved body, no external handles or hardware, and custom paintwork highlighted by detailed airbrushed flames. The engine bay is clean and uncluttered, and the chassis and underside have been neatly detailed. Inside the tub, the truck is finished to a high standard, fitted with a custom hard lid and a large fabricated fuel tank. The interior is trimmed in custom leather and fitted with Autometer gauges, electric windows, a quality stereo with subwoofers behind the seat, and tidy finishes throughout.

DRIVE - LINE:

Power comes from a well-presented 350ci Chevrolet V8. It is paired with a Turbo 700 four-speed automatic, delivering reliable street performance. Underneath, the truck incorporates a properly engineered Pro Street chassis layout, featuring an A-arm Mustang II independent front end with coil-overs with matching coil-over suspension. The rear has been tubbed to house a shortened 9-inch LSD, sitting beneath massive 15-inch wide Weld wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman 29x15.00R15LT tyres, giving the truck the stance and footprint expected of a high-horsepower street machine. Four-wheel disc brakes, air-conditioning and power steering complete the mechanical package.

The truck’s structural upgrades, wide rear footprint and driveline combination were all selected to handle high-output engines. It is currently tuned and set up as a reliable cruiser that is easy to drive and enjoy.

EXTERIOR:

The exterior is a showcase of custom craftsmanship. The smoothed and shaved bodywork gives the truck its clean, seamless look, while the airbrushed flame paintwork delivers unmistakable street presence. Wide Weld wheels at the rear complement the tubbed body and shortened axle, reinforcing that the truck was engineered with high-horsepower intentions in mind. The custom hard tonneau lid, finished interior tub, and clean underbody all reflect a high standard of detail and presentation.

INTERIOR:

The cabin presents as a fully custom environment with leather trim, Autometer instrumentation, electric windows, air-conditioning, power steering and a quality stereo system with subwoofers behind the seat. The layout and finish strike a balance between comfort and hot-rod character, offering a clean and well-executed cabin suited to relaxed weekend cruising.
