JULY 2026 CLASSIC CAR AUCTION — RESULTS

9–16 JULY 2026 | 90% CLEARANCE RATE

Chicane Auctions' July 2026 Collector, Performance & Rare Car Auction concluded on Thursday, 16 July, achieving an impressive 90% clearance rate, with nine of the ten vehicles offered finding new owners.

Featuring a diverse selection of Australian muscle cars, American classics, European collector vehicles, custom hot rods and modern performance cars, the auction demonstrated strong buyer interest across multiple segments of the collector car market.

Leading the results was a genuine matching-numbers 1976 Ford Falcon XB GT Hardtop, finished in factory Yellow Blaze, which achieved $151,000. Close behind was an exceptional, multi-award-winning 1932 Ford Roadster Hot Rod, selling for $150,000, while a 2007 Harrison Shelby Daytona Coupe achieved $110,000.

Australian muscle cars were well represented, with a rare factory V8 four-speed 1977 Chrysler Valiant Charger E44 selling for $85,750, alongside two Holden HZ GTS sedans achieving $101,000 and $68,250 respectively.

European classics also attracted buyers, with a beautifully presented and upgraded 1965 Jaguar Mk II selling for $57,750, while the limited-production 2017 Tickford Mustang Bathurst '77 Special was sold for an undisclosed amount at request of the Vendor.
