Featuring an impressive selection of Australian muscle cars, American classics, modified performance vehicles and European collector cars, the auction demonstrated strong buyer interest across several segments of the collector car market.

Leading the results was a highly desirable 1982 Ford Fairmont XE ESP Ghia 5.8 V8 Manual, which achieved $159,750. This was followed by a supercharged 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 V8, selling for $127,750, while a rare one-owner 1985 HDT VK Director achieved $110,000.

Australian Ford and Holden classics were well represented, with a 1967 Ford Falcon XR 500 fitted with a 351 Cleveland V8 selling for $81,000, alongside a 1978 Holden HZ GTS 308 V8 Manual achieving $73,000. The auction also featured a modified 1976 Ford XB Falcon powered by a 408ci Cleveland V8 and a 1976 Holden Torana LX SS, both selling for undisclosed amounts at the vendors' request.

American classics attracted buyers, with a 2005 AC Cobra recreation by RC Sportscars selling for $75,250, a right-hand-drive 1965 Ford F100 fitted with a 460ci V8 achieving $64,000, and a 1955 Pontiac Star Chief Catalina Sport Coupe selling for $50,000.

European collector vehicles were represented by a 1966 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Pagoda, further highlighting the diversity of vehicles offered through Chicane Auctions' Melbourne showroom.
